A scan does not always arrive ready to interpret. A sequence gets cut short. A key view is missing. An oblique is not quite aligned to the anatomy it was meant to show.
A rushed reader takes what they were given and reports only what is easy to see. That is how real pathology ends up outside the frame and out of the report.
We do the extra step. We reconstruct the views we need, realign the planes, and push the images until the anatomy is actually visible. If the answer is hiding just past where the scan stopped, we go get it.
You cannot read what you never made yourself look at.
